Keep this guide open after downloading. The first public build is not yet Apple-notarized, so macOS requires one extra confirmation. Continue only with a file downloaded from the official VEZZA website.

  1. Install VEZZA. Open the downloaded .dmg, then drag Vezza onto the Applications folder shown beside it.
  2. Make Open Anyway appear. Open VEZZA once from Applications. When macOS says Apple cannot verify the developer, choose Done. This first attempt adds the Open Anyway button.
  3. Approve this copy. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to Security, choose Open Anyway beside VEZZA, then confirm. Never do this for a copy obtained elsewhere.
  4. Open VEZZA again. Its connection window and QR code appear immediately.
  5. If macOS asks whether VEZZA may find devices on your local network, choose Allow. This lets the computer connect directly to the phone that scans its QR code.
  6. In VEZZA, click Allow VEZZA to control this computer. Turn on VEZZA in the Accessibility setting that opens, then return to the app.

    TURN ON VEZZA, THEN RETURN TO THE APP.
  7. Scan the QR code with your phone. That is the entire setup.
