VEZZA · FAQ

Questions before you connect.

The short version: download VEZZA on your computer, scan once with your phone, and use the free essentials for as long as you like. START FREE →

01 · CONNECTING

Open, scan, control.

Does my phone need the VEZZA app or an account?

No. Scan the QR code and the controls open in your phone browser. Nothing is installed on your phone, and connected phones do not need a VEZZA account.

Does VEZZA use Bluetooth?

No Bluetooth pairing is needed. Your computer and phone connect directly while they are on the same local Wi-Fi network.

Which phone browsers work?

Use a modern version of Safari or Chrome. Your phone camera can scan the QR code, then the browser opens the controls for the mode you chose.

Can I return without scanning again?

Yes. You can add the VEZZA controls to your phone’s home screen as an optional shortcut. If that saved shortcut stops connecting, open VEZZA on the computer and scan the current QR code again.

What should I do if the phone cannot connect?

Keep VEZZA open and the computer awake, then confirm the phone and computer are on the same Wi-Fi network. Guest, hotel and managed networks may block nearby devices from communicating. VEZZA retries brief interruptions automatically before showing recovery guidance.

02 · COMPATIBILITY

Choose your computer.

Which computers does VEZZA support?

VEZZA supports macOS and Windows. The current Mac download has separate Apple Silicon and Intel builds; Windows supports Windows 10 and 11.

Which Mac download should I choose?

Choose Apple Silicon for an M-series Mac. If About This Mac shows “Processor” instead of “Chip,” choose the small Intel Mac link below the main download button.

Why does my computer warn that the first VEZZA release is unverified?

The first release is not yet signed by Apple or Microsoft. If—and only if—you downloaded it from the official VEZZA website, follow the first-time setup guide to use macOS Open Anyway or Windows SmartScreen More info → Run anyway. Future signed releases will remove this extra confirmation.

Why does macOS show permission messages?

VEZZA needs Local Network access to connect directly to your phone and Accessibility access to send the keys, clicks and presentation commands you choose. The homepage setup guide explains both first-time prompts.

Why does VEZZA need Accessibility permission on Mac?

macOS requires this permission before VEZZA can send keys, clicks and presentation controls. If VEZZA is not listed, open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility, click +, choose VEZZA from Applications, then turn it on.

Why does VEZZA need Local Network permission on Mac?

Your phone connects directly to VEZZA over the same Wi-Fi network. If access was declined, open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network and enable VEZZA, or use the button under Connection details in VEZZA.

03 · PRICING

Free essentials. One-time plans.

What is included for free?

The free download includes one connected phone, a standard controller, and basic trackpad and keyboard control. Those essentials remain free.

Is a paid plan a subscription?

No. Play + Control, Presentation and Unlimited are one-time purchases. There are no recurring subscription charges.

Can I use or buy VEZZA now?

Yes. The free VEZZA essentials are available to download, and the three one-time paid plans can be purchased through the secure Lemon Squeezy checkout on the homepage.

How will payment be handled?

When public sales open, Lemon Squeezy will provide the secure checkout. The final price, applicable taxes, licence terms and consumer information will be shown before payment.

How many computers does one licence cover?

One licence covers one active computer at a time. You can move it to a replacement computer after deactivating the previous one, and people using the licensed computer can connect from their phones without buying separate phone licences.

Which updates are included?

A one-time purchase includes continued use of the major version you bought and its updates. A future major version may be sold separately, but your purchased version will not become a subscription or stop working because a newer major version exists.

What is the refund policy?

VEZZA offers a voluntary 14-day refund period from purchase. A completed refund deactivates the licence. This sits alongside — and never replaces — mandatory rights if the software is not delivered, defective, or materially different from its description.
