Local by design, clear about the rest.

The desktop app may store its settings, inferred or chosen device names, controller layouts and profiles, teleprompter text, pairing credentials, diagnostic logs and locally cached licence status on your computer. The phone browser may store the current local connection address or pairing information so a home-screen shortcut can reconnect.

This information is used to provide the features you request. It is not uploaded to VEZZA merely because it exists in the app. It remains until you remove it through the product, clear the relevant browser data or delete the app’s local data. Uninstalling the app may not automatically remove every settings file.

Text entered into VEZZA’s phone keyboard and controller commands are sent to the connected computer for the requested action. VEZZA does not keep a cloud copy of that input.

Your phone opens VEZZA controls in its browser and connects to the desktop app over the same local Wi-Fi network. No VEZZA phone app or account is required. The devices use local network addresses, a pairing credential and connection-status information to establish and maintain the session.

The current local controller connection uses HTTP and WebSocket traffic and is not end-to-end encrypted. Use VEZZA only on a network you trust, not an open or hostile public network. A future release may change this transport; this notice will be updated when it does.

The website does not require an account and contains no hosted contact, payment or mailing-list form. It stores only the Auto, Light or Dark theme choice in your browser when you change it. That preference is not sent to VEZZA.

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts, delivers and protects the website. It may process IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps and security events. Google Fonts receives ordinary request information, including an IP address, when the website loads its externally hosted typefaces. These services are used for the legitimate interests of delivering, securing and presenting the website.

The site does not currently use optional analytics, advertising pixels or behavioural profiling. The public page loads Lemon Squeezy’s checkout script, which causes a request to Lemon Squeezy’s infrastructure. Opening or using checkout sends the additional information needed to display and process the purchase.

Lemon Squeezy processes the name, email address, billing details, payment, tax, order and receipt information required for a purchase. VEZZA does not receive complete card details. See Lemon Squeezy’s privacy policy.

VEZZA receives or accesses the order, product and licence information needed to deliver paid features, validate an activation, provide support, prevent misuse and meet accounting or legal obligations. During licence activation or revalidation, the desktop app sends the licence key and a pseudonymous identifier derived from the computer to Lemon Squeezy. This processing is necessary to provide the purchased licence and protect it from unauthorised use.

Purchase and accounting records are retained for the period required by tax, accounting, consumer-protection and legal-claims rules. Local licence information remains on the computer until it is deactivated or the app’s data is removed.

On macOS, Local Network permission lets VEZZA connect to phones on the same Wi-Fi. Accessibility permission allows VEZZA to send keys, clicks and presentation commands at your direction. You must grant these permissions yourself and can review or revoke them in System Settings → Privacy & Security.

The unsigned first release does not automatically install updates and must be updated by downloading a newer installer from vezzaapp.com. A future signed updater will request update metadata from VEZZA’s HTTPS download host. That host will receive ordinary request information such as IP address, time, platform and current app version. Optional analytics and crash reporting are not currently enabled.

If you email VEZZA, the address, message and attachments you choose to provide are used to respond, troubleshoot and maintain an appropriate support record. If you voluntarily send diagnostic logs, they may contain app version, device or operating-system details, local connection events and error information. Review them before sending and do not include payment-card details or unrelated sensitive information.

Support information is processed to respond to your request, perform the customer relationship where relevant and support the legitimate interests of troubleshooting, fraud prevention and legal claims. It is kept only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes, then deleted or anonymised.

Some providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers rely on an adequacy decision, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or contractual safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

• VEZZA does not sell personal data.
• VEZZA does not use personal data for targeted advertising.
• VEZZA does not use AI models or automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
• VEZZA does not provide a user-upload or public-storage feature.
• VEZZA does not knowingly offer the product to children under 16 or knowingly collect their personal data.

If these practices change, this notice will be updated before the new processing begins where required.

The current site does not set optional analytics or advertising cookies. It uses browser storage for the theme choice you request. Lemon Squeezy may use storage or cookies when its checkout is opened, under its own notice. Because VEZZA itself does not currently set non-essential tracking, the site does not display a VEZZA cookie-consent banner.

If VEZZA later adds non-essential analytics, advertising or similar tracking, it will remain off until any required consent is obtained.

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may be asked for enough information to verify that the request relates to you.

Send requests to hello@vezzaapp.com. They will be answered without undue delay, normally within one month. You may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia or the supervisory authority where you live or work.

VEZZA uses reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect information, but no system or local network can promise absolute security. If a personal-data breach requires notification, affected people and the competent authority will be contacted as required by law.
